Having never planned a trip as big as this one we really went into the whole thing blind. The only thing we ever had organized was our flights and visas, all the rest we have worked out ourselves through trial and error. On this page there are a few useful links to websites that we have found helpful during our travels. Although it is hard to try and map out a trip it pays to do a bit of research about the country, what to expect, where to stay etc. And always have a plan B and sometimes a plan C to fall back on! There have been occasions where we have been stuck in the middle of nowhere without a place to sleep!
