Sri Lanka October ~ November 2011

We arrived in Columbo in Sri Lanka on the 22nd October 2011. Most of that month was spent in a small village called Hikkaduwa on the West coast where the 2004 Tsunami hit. Our trip to this beautiful country was an eye opening experience but one we wouldn’t have changed.

Our favourite moments during our stay in Sri Lanka had to be the elephant orphanage and volunteering at the turtle sanctuary
