The North West is a vast land with varied landscapes ranging from semi arid deserts, dry scrub lands to monsoonal country. Most of the area is grazed by cattle and towns are few and far between. This part of our journey covered 3274km in total and took us through many diverse landscapes, along the beautiful coral coast.
We took a couple of detours up into Exmouth to snorkel the coral reefs and Monkey Mia to meet the dolphins adding some extra kilometres to our journey!
